The far-reaching origins of Lauren's materials lend significance and richness to each unique creation. From the Far East she has sourced artifacts such as hand-carved jade and turquoise, Buddhist prayer beads of lotus seed, centuries old tribal Burmese pumtek beads and ornate Chinese silver locks. From the marketplaces of the Middle East, Lauren has curated a collection of silver from the nomadic Turkoman people and coins from 18th century headdresses. Through Lauren's artistic eye and hand, these antiquities are transformed into contemporary heirlooms.
